In high-end manufacturing fields such as electronics, semiconductors, and biopharmaceuticals, the engineering quality of cleanrooms is directly related to product quality and production safety. As one of the infrastructure components of a cleanroom, raised floors require no negligence in every link, including selection, installation, leveling, and maintenance.
I. Selection: Materials, anti-static properties, opening ratio, and load-bearing capacity – none can be overlooked.Steel or aluminum alloy is the preferred material, as it is corrosion-resistant, anti-static, and easy to clean, eliminating contamination at the source.Anti-static performance is a rigid requirement; electrostatic accumulation is a major threat to cleanrooms. The floor must undergo anti-static treatment to protect precision components and product safety. The opening ratio determines ventilation efficiency. Ratios such as 17%, 25%, and 50% are available, with different ratios adapting to different ventilation needs. Uniform openings are the key to smooth air flow.Load-bearing capacity must meet standards. Workshop equipment is heavy and numerous; insufficient floor load-bearing capacity will lead to serious consequences.
II. Installation: Ground preparation, supports, laying, and grounding – proceed step by step.First, level the ground. Ensure the ground is flat, dry, dust-free, and free of contamination before construction; otherwise, all efforts will be in vain.Support beams must be installed precisely. Construct in accordance with drawings and meet both horizontal and vertical standards to ensure stability.Follow a specific sequence when laying the floor. Lay according to size and order, with tight seams and a flat surface as basic requirements. The grounding system is indispensable. Good grounding ensures anti-static protection, and safety comes first.
III. Leveling: Use a level, and ensure stable support at all four corners.A laser level can be used for better leveling to ensure the entire floor surface is on the same horizontal plane. The four corners should bear force simultaneously. For floor systems supported at four corners in particular, each support point must be properly adjusted to avoid "suspension" or "loose connection".
IV. Maintenance: Cleaning, inspection, and environment – keep up with daily management.Do not skip regular cleaning; maintain a clean and dust-free floor, and check regularly for blocked openings.Repair damages immediately to prevent contamination from spreading.Control temperature and humidity as well. The recommended temperature for construction and maintenance environments is 5–35℃, and humidity should be < 80% to ensure stable material performance.
